Tourism Vocational High School Students' Online EFL Learning Experience during COVID-19 Pandemic

This study aimed to explore the tourism vocational high school (VHS) students' experience of EFL learning during COVID-19 pandemic. A qualitative was utilized obtain 20 experience. The data were obtained from grades 10 and 11 students VHS in Yogyakarta. semi-structured interview conducted, verbatim transcripts analyzed using inductive thematic analysis approaches. Three major themes identified experiences, namely (a) how they conducted teaching learning, (b) language strategies, (c) perceptions online learning. It found that have made use all available resources. suggests used appropriate strategies for such as cognitive, metacognitive, resource management, social strategies. Their toward mainly positive. However, still prefer face-to-face
